The FAST Act authorized the CRISI Program to improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of passenger and freight rail systems. This grant would provide funding for 32 projects and will be administered by the FRA.

Of the 32 projects, 15 will take place in opportunity zones and have received nearly 50% of the funding.
