PFL is an energetic, growth-focused logistics firm serving the railcar and commodity industries. We are seeking a candidate for the role of Logistics Coordinator who has strong communication skills and is organized and detail-oriented.
The candidate will work closely with the sales team to track and follow up on transactions for our rail logistics business. This includes following deal flow from start to finish and assisting with billing, invoicing, customer and counterparty communication, and other back-office administrative functions. The candidate will also have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
- Serious candidates who are open to learning and looking for long-term employment.
- Strong phone skills, as there will be some cold calling involved.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Proficiency with mathematics.
- Ability to work late or extended hours when needed.
Preferred, but not required:
- Prior sales experience.
- College graduate with a business, economic or mathematics background.
- Transloading or logistics experience.
