This grant would provide funding for 32 projects and will be administered by the <strong>FRA<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cThese grants support the economic vitality of our nation\u2019s rural and urban communities all around the country,\u201d  &#8211; Ronald Batory  FRA Administrator   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 32 projects, 15 will take place in <strong>opportunity zones<\/strong> and have received nearly 50% of the funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cThis $248.5 million federal investment will upgrade rail infrastructure and enhance safety on the tracks and at railroad crossings in rural and urban communities across America,\u201d  -Elaine L. <\/strong>Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements  Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FRA<\/strong>: Federal Railroad Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Opportunity Zone designation<\/strong> encourages investment in communities by granting investors extensive Federal tax advantages for using their capital
