Crude oil inventories increased by 2mm\/bbls, compared\nto a forcasted draw of 1.3MM\/bbls. Gasoline inventories decreased\nby 3MM\/bbls and distillate inventories decreased by 1.7MM\/bbls.\n\"The market was a little surprised by the build given that much of\nthe Gulf of Mexico production had not returned but this was offset\nas refineries have struggled to return after Hurricane Laura,\" said\nAndrew Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates, noting: \"The\ndecline in gasoline and distillate demand was another\ndisappointment.\" Contango is back and leading commodity houses\nare increasing their booking of tankers to store crude oil and diesel.\nWTI traded down $.75 or -1.97% to close at $37.30.
