(\u201cPFL Canada\u201d) is excited to announce today that we have opened an office in Calgary, Alberta Canada, and have appointed Cynthia Popov as the new VP of Operations &amp; Business Development. \u201cWith over 14 years of experience in supply chain management and rail logistics, Cyndi is a recognized expert with a strong passion for rail operations and innovative transportation solutions\u201d, said Curtis Chandler, President of PFL &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining PFL Rail Services Canada, Cyndi played a key role at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway (CPKC), where she established a strong foundation in the rail industry. In this capacity, she managed key chemical accounts and collaborated closely with customers to ensure pipeline fluidity and deliver timely, customer-oriented solutions. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently Cyndi spent 12 years at NOVA Chemicals, where she successfully expanded a small network of rail Storage-in-Transit (SIT) yards into a large, dynamic system, developing innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs. Her experience in collaborating and negotiating with rail carriers to balance demands with supplier and customer goals, both strategic and tactical, solidified her reputation as a trusted problem-solver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to be joining the great team at PFL and establishing their office here in Calgary,\u201d said Cyndi. \u201cI\u2019m passionate about creating innovative solutions that address customer\u2019s unique challenges, and I\u2019m eager to apply my experience to help drive growth and success for both customers and partners\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Cyndi holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Energy Management from the University of Calgary\u2019s Haskayne School of Business and is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) through the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PFL is a full-service railcar company covering the North American market that offers a high-level perspective when it comes to navigating the day-to-day challenges within the rail industry. Our logistics specialists have a thorough understanding of short and long-term trends and the economic effects they have on the industry.
