{"id":12744,"date":"2023-11-24T21:07:44","date_gmt":"2023-11-25T02:07:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pflpetroleum.com\/reports\/?p=12744"},"modified":"2023-11-28T12:37:38","modified_gmt":"2023-11-28T17:37:38","slug":"petroleum-daily-report-11-24-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pflpetroleum.com\/reports\/petroleum-daily-report-11-24-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Petroleum Daily Report 11-24-2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Oil fell on Friday as the release of some hostages in Gaza reduced the geopolitical risk premium, but prices were up slightly week over week &#8211;\u00a0 the first week over week gain in over a month.\u00a0 OPEC+\u00a0 has a meeting next week to decide on production cuts in 2024.\u00a0\u00a0 Meanwhile Canada continues to wait for Trans Mountain completion for line pack fill as prices remain depressed in Edmonton.\u00a0 U.S. West Texas Intermediate (\u201cWTI\u201d) crude oil fell $1.56 per barrel, or 2%, from Wednesday&#8217;s close to close $75.54 per barrel.\u00a0 Markets were closed on Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving, therefore, there was no settlement for WTI on Thursday.\u00a0 Brent crude futures settled down 84 cents US per barrel, or 1%, closing at US$80.58 per barrel.\u00a0 Rig count was up week over week in both the U.S. and Canada.
